Sailrite® Ultrafeed _LSZ-1 BASIC Sewing Machine Bundle (220-240V/50Hz) includes our powerful portable straight/zigzag foot sewing machine. This set is perfect for beginner seamstresses who want a sturdy, easy-to-carry machine, for boat owners looking to sew heavy canvas or vinyl on their boat, or for a home seamstress who wants a machine that can handle heavy sewing assemblies. The Ultrafeed LSZ-1 excels in performance and versatility, sewing in both straight and zigzag stitches. Built with the strongest, most reliable parts, the Ultrafeed easily sews through heavy materials like heavy canvas, denim, leather, and upholstery, but it\’s also versatile enough to easily sew through lighter household fabrics. The Ultrafeed LSZ-1 can handle all sails on most 35 foot boats. For larger boats this will depend on the weight of the sailcloth and the size of the sail. Its sewing capabilities have been proven in up to 10 layers of heavy canvas and eight layers of Dacron® sailcloth.
The Ultrafeed LSZ-1 BASIC Set includes the Ultrafeed LSZ-1 (220-240 V) sewing machine (Patent #6499415) in the sturdy Ultrafeed ® wooden base and the EZ Set™ stitch length plate, pre-installed on the machine.
Sewing Abilities
The Ultrafeed features a 3/8-inch-high foot lift and best-in-class needle bar travel, so you can sew virtually anything you can put under foot . The Ultrafeed can also be easily adjusted to sew lighter home decor fabrics, so it can be your machine of choice for many projects. Set the variable stitch length up to 6mm in straight stitch and up to 5mm in zigzag width and you\’re ready to go. The Ultrafeed will easily sew through fabrics such as:
