Description

The Sailrite® Deluxe Fabricator® Sewing Machine Package is a sewing machine to build your business on. A full-size industrial, straight stitch sewing machine with a compound walking foot, the Fabricator was designed for canvas, upholstery or awning shops. It’s also a great choice for the serious DIYer. The Fabricator allows for slow, controlled sewing at full power, so you can take your time creating the most precise stitches possible. In fact, you can sew as slow as 3/4 stitch per second! This best-in-class sewing machine offers high-quality castings and machined parts, ensuring it will be a dependable machine for years to come. Turn to the Fabricator for sewing heavy canvas, awning fabrics, upholstery fabrics, denim, soft-medium weight leather and drapery fabrics.

The Workhorse® Servo Motor

The Fabricator is powered by Sailrite’s Workhorse Servo Motor, a 550-watt, 3/4 horsepower motor, that provides a fluid motor to machine power transfer. The Workhorse runs quietly and is both energy saving and durable. It also features fully adjustable speed settings—you can set your top stitching speed and maintain variable speed control. The Workhorse is used in conjunction with a cogged timing belt and our oversized Stitch PRO Balance Wheel. This arrangement is the first of its kind with a servo motor and provides maximum power while maintaining slow-speed sewing control.

Patented Posi-Pin® Safety Shear

For the first time on an industrial machine, the Fabricator is also fitted with Sailrite’s patented Posi-Pin® Safety Shear (Patent #7438009), which protects your machine from damage. If you sew over something you shouldn’t, the pin will break and your machine will stop operating in order to protect the machine. Pulling the pin out also makes the machine stop working, which is an excellent bonus safety feature. Additionally, the Posi-Pin lets you disengage the balance wheel when winding bobbins, reducing wear and tear on the machine\’s internal components.

Helpful Features

The Fabricator offers many extra features to make sewing easier. An extra high foot lift easily fits thicker assemblies, but the Fabricator will also sew thinner assemblies, so it can be your go-to machine for all kinds of projects! Like other industrial sewing machines, the Fabricator features a large rotary hook, which reduces the frequency of bobbin winding, and plenty of underarm space for comfortable sewing, even with larger projects. Quickly raise the presser foot with the built-in knee lift. The laser engraved needle plate features helpful guides for seam allowance. Plus, an attached bobbin winder mechanism lets you wind bobbins without unthreading your machine and allows for bobbin winding while you sew.

Deluxe Setup

Take your sewing to the next level! This Fabricator package comes with some impressive additions for a superior sewing setup. The machine head and oil tray sit in a custom maple butcher block table for a craftsman-inspired look. The black, powder-coated table legs are made from a high-quality steel and are designed for easy height adjustments. Every sewist needs a convenient space for storing notions, which is why we’ve included cutouts on the tabletop for storing bobbins and other notions within easy reach. To top it all off, we’ve included the Sailrite® Industrial Flexible LED Sewing Machine Light for optimal sewing visibility. This sturdy, sleek light has a flexible 26-inch neck so you can position it exactly where you need it. With five watts of power and a lifespan of 50,000 hours, you will have a bright, concentrated beam of light in hard-to-see places. With a strong G-clamp base, this light is easy to install on your work surface and will hold strong. Assembly of the table is required. Once fully assembled, the Deluxe Fabricator has a total weight of 140 pounds.
